We took our name from Mount Aconcagua.

Located in South America, in the Andes range, Aconcagua is the highest peak in the Southern Hemisphere, the highest peak in the Americas and the second highest among the 7 summits: 6,961 metres (almost 23,000 feet)

The name ‘Aconcagua’ originated in the Andean region centuries before the arrival of European explorers in the 1500s and in the language of the native people it means ‘white sentinel’.
